Shape the World

Responsible-Investors believes that we should look after each other and protect the environment and nature as it is our source for life, our biggest asset and our home.

In South America, the jaguar was a symbol of power and strength as well as regarded as a protector of nature.

Along with physical vision, jaguars are also associated with prescience and the foreknowledge of things to come.

For some, the jaguar represents the power to face one’s fears, or to confront one’s enemies.

The jaguar inhabits a variety of forested and open habitats, but is strongly associated with the presence of water. The jaguar is also one of the few cats to like water, and often can be seen playing in it.

About Us

Responsible-Investors looks to create awareness on the importance of responsible investment practices as well as global social, environmental and governance issues.

We believe that we can shape and change the world through our:

  •  Investment decisions
  •  Consumer choices
  •  Lifestyle practices

For this reason, we regard of utmost importance to include social, governance and environmental criteria when looking to identify securities or investments that can earn competitive returns as well as purchase goods and services.

We want to encourage the world to identify global issues, contribute insights, propose solutions and drive change through day to day practices and actions.

The term socially responsible investments (SRI) is often used interchangeably with other terms such as sustainable investments, ethical investments, impact investing, (ESG) Environmental, Social, and Governance investing.

SRI is an investment that is considered socially responsible because of the nature of the business the company conducts.

Common themes for socially responsible investments include avoiding investments in companies that produce or sell addictive substances like (alcohol, gambling and tobacco) fur and specialty leather, weapons, pesticides, animal testing and palm oil) and seeking out companies engaged in social justice, environmental sustainability and alternative energy/clean technology efforts.

The good news is that globally the responsible investment industry has been gaining momentum and growing considerably. Yet great opportunities remain as there is still great scope to gain market share.
